Summer Internship Programme

The EDB Summer Internship is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience of EDB’s work through a real-life research project in one of our business units.

 

During your 10-week stint, you will get the opportunity to tackle interesting problem statements and be empowered to recommend strategies that could make a meaningful impact to Singapore and Singaporeans.

eligibility

We seek individuals who are motivated to create a positive impact for Singapore and Singaporeans, possess strong critical thinking abilities and effective communication skills, and demonstrate tenacity to turn possibilities into reality.
 

Internship Cycles

There are two cycles for the Summer Internship Programme:

  • Cycle 1: May – July
  • Cycle 2: June – August

You may join us for the cycle that best fits your academic schedule.

 

Eligibility

You should fulfill the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen/PR; and
  • An undergraduate in your penultimate year of study or at least 6 months away from graduation.

We welcome candidates with diverse experience and disciplines of study.

FAQ

As there is a high volume of applicants, we will try our best to assign you to a project that you feel passionate about. If you are shortlisted for the game-based assessment and video interview, you will be asked to rank your top 3 project picks in one of the video interview questions.

Our internship projects are offered by divisions such as the Accounts Group, Planning & Policy, and Strategy Divisions. You may refer to the project list to find out more about the division and project.

The Summer Internship Programme is a good opportunity for you to assess if EDB is a good fit for you, and if you are a good fit for the work that we do.

Interns who perform well and are a good fit to EDB will get fast-tracked to the Associate Programme interview process.
