On 14 May 2018, Energizer celebrated the addition of new battery production lines to its manufacturing facility in Singapore. The new production lines for alkaline batteries will see Energizer deploy best-in-class technologies that will not only increase productivity but also manufacture batteries with significant performance improvements.

With this expansion, Singapore will be one of only two locations globally to host this proprietary technology and will have an annual installed capacity of approximately 2.2 billion cells.

Energizer’s longstanding partnership with Singapore dates back to 1946. Today, Singapore is home to Energizer’s largest plant internationally, boasts a staff strength of over 600 and is its only facility to produce lithium batteries.
