Since establishing operations in Singapore more than 20 years ago, ResMed has significantly expanded its presence, now employing 1,300 people in the country. In 2022, the company opened its 270,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Centre in Tuas. This state-of-the-art facility is ResMed’s largest manufacturing facility globally, and further, it is the biggest advanced manufacturing plant in the world dedicated to respiratory medical devices, masks, and beyond. It is equipped to scale the production of ResMed’s connected devices and mask systems, supporting sleep, respiratory health, and overall wellness. The facility includes the manufacturing of the AirSense 11, ResMed’s new innovative CPAP device, launched in Singapore on November 6.

Complementing this manufacturing hub is ResMed’s 3,400-square-foot Product Development Laboratory and regional commercial office in One North, which drive innovation and market growth across Asia, including the development of new products.

In addition to its manufacturing hub and research contributions, ResMed actively engages with local educational institutions and the government to improve the talent pool, supporting the needs of the expanding healthcare sector.
