a. YouTube

We have included YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the "extended data protection mode", i.e. no data about you as a user will be transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will data be transferred to YouTube. We have no influence on this data transfer. b. Career section

When you select a job in our career section, you will be directed to a service of PageUp. c. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used on this website for the statistical evaluation of page visits. This is a web analysis service of Google Inc., which uses so-called "cookies". As described above, these are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by this text file about the use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. g. Eloqua

The data controller has integrated components of Oracle Eloqua / Oracle Marketing Cloud (hereinafter referred to as "Eloqua") on this website. Eloqua adapts relevant website content to the data of interested parties, customers and their profiles in order to enable website operators to address interested parties and customers more effectively and specifically. The purpose of Eloqua is to increase the conversion rate of prospects into customers and thus to increase the turnover of a website operator.

h. Doubleclick

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. We use the LinkedIn Insight tag for this website. TheLinkedIn Insight tag creates a LinkedIn "browser cookie" that collects the following information:

This technology enables us to generate reports on the performance of our advertisements and information about website interaction. V. Legal basis for data processing

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to deliver the use of websites for users. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these it is necessary that the browser is recognized also after a page change. Such are temporary (session) storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. If a user makes use of contact forms, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and the service provider. Your consent according to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. to will be obtained for the processing of the data as a part of the sending process and reference will be made to this privacy policy. 

If a user registers for EDB Newsletter consent will be obtained for the processing of personal information during the registration process and reference will be made to this privacy policy.

Personal information is used by EDB and its service providers for different purposes but is only used to the extent of users given consent.

Personal Data may be transferred to other relevant Singaporean Government Agencies for processing if an application is submitted as described in section III c) and previous user consent was obtained.

Personal Data may be transferred to designated third parties, on a case by case basis, if an application is submitted as described in section III c) and previous user consent was obtained.

Other personal information than processed as described in section III c) may be transferred to and processed by third parties if previous user consent was obtained.
 

IX. Rights 

If personal data is processed, you are the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you are entitled to the following rights against the controller:

This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent given to us before the EU General Data Protection Regulation came into force, i.e. before 25 May 2018.
