Rohde & Schwarz established its presence in Singapore in 1997 with six employees, offering state-of-the-art system solutions to regional customers. The advantage of global and regional expertise coupled with a strong network of over 16 subsidiaries in Asia establishes their reputation as a trusted partner. Its S$58 million Asia headquarters spanning about 12,700 sqm at Changi Business Park opened in 2014 and together with three factories at Loyang, they house some 450 employees today.
With Singapore's reputation as a leading advanced manufacturing hub, as well as its proximity to emerging and high-growth markets across Asia, Rohde & Schwarz has the capabilities to manage its regional sales, marketing and services for regional customers on a global platform.
The city state's strong talent pool is also an attractive factor for Rohde & Schwarz. The company is one of the pioneers of the Dual Studies Programme that builds a pipeline of engineering talent in close collaboration with Singapore-based institutes of higher learning.
